Meanwhile in the NSFW comic, Evil Inc After Dark, the sidekicks are having a heck of a time. They’re desperate to end a rather long “thwartless” streak. As if that isn’t bad enough, Atom Boy* is finding it’s tough to get a little privacy when your best bud can walk through walls.
In this episode, we also learn that superheroes have an adult site dedicated to their interests. It’s called Biff-Pow-Bang Bros. Who knew?
*He’s in his twenties, but his brand manager refuses to let him change his moniker.

During Wizard World Philly, I had kind of a bad situation. One of my readers asked why I no longer offer T-shirts on my site. I pointed out that I actually never stopped!

What I’m Watching: Alpha House (Amazon Original)
One of the nicest fringe benefits of leaving my day job to do comics full time if that — now that I’m not working nights anymore — I can actually watch TV again. Before leaving the Daily News in 2012, the last series I watched with any regularity at all was Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
My digital-drawing process is such that I can set up my Kindle Fire behind my tablet and binge TV while I ink. I spend a lot of time inking, so I’ve been able to watch the entire runs of series that I’d heard so much about — like Star Trek TNG and West Wing. If anyone wants to discuss the intricacies of Breaking Bad or The Office, I’m finally ready for it.
Even better, I get to join the rest of you in watching relatively recent series. My newest obsession — Alpha House (Amazon Original). It about four Republican senators who share the same D.C. house. It’s written and produced by Doonesbury creator Garry Trudeau — who shows his mastery at creating multi-layered, fascinating characters and then embroiling them in compelling situations. Of course, Trudeau’s sardonic wit is woven throughout. It’s well worth your time.
